Ms. Lunceford graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado in 1983
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Following graduation, she
worked in the health care and pharmaceutical sales industry for two years. She
received her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1988 from the University of Houston
Law Center. She is currently licensed by the Texas Supreme Court, as well as the United States Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Ms. Lunceford was formerly associated with the health care law firm of Wood,
Lucksinger & Epstein, and has most recently worked as staff counsel for The
St. Paul Insurance Company. She obtained her Board Certification in Personal
Injury Trial Law in 1998, and was recertified
in 2003.
Ms. Lunceford's principal area of practice is personal injury trial law. Her
professional experience includes first chair responsibility for the litigation of
medical malpractice, premises liability, automobile, commercial transportation,
products liability, DTPA, professional negligence, and wrongful death claims.
She has successfully tried over 20 personal
injury and property defense cases to final
verdict throughout state courts in Texas,
and has argued numerous cases before Texas
court of appeal.
Ms. Lunceford volunteers
her time with various committees of the
Houston Bar Association. She is also an
active parent volunteer at her children's
schools and with the Girl Scouts of San
Jacinto Council.
