Ms. Robbins was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated with a
Bachelor of Criminal Justice degree from Louisiana State University in Baton
Rouge, Louisiana in 1983. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence
from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1986 and was also the
recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Profession and the
BNA Law Student Award for academic achievement. She was admitted to
the State Bar of Louisiana in 1986 and admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1992. Ms.
Robbins is licensed to practice in the courts of the states of Louisiana and
Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Ms. Robbins is a member of the
Louisiana State Bar, State Bar of Texas, College of the State Bar of Texas,
Defense Research Institute, and the Jefferson and Harris County
Bar Associations.
During her senior year of law school, Ms. Robbins was admitted to the Loyola
University Law Clinic, where she managed cases and was permitted to practice
before the state courts of Louisiana. Following graduation from law school, Ms.
Robbins practiced general civil law, with an emphasis on personal injury, in
New Orleans, Louisiana, until moving to Texas. Ms. Robbins then practiced in
both the Beaumont and Houston offices of Benckenstein & Oxford, LLP, as
both an associate and then a partner, for six years. She joined Munisteri,
Sprott, Rigby, Newsom & Vincent, P.C. as a shareholder in January, 2000. Ms.
Robbins has experience in defending corporations in complex toxic tort
