Mr. Munisteri graduated from law school in 1981. He obtained his Bachelor of
Business Administration in Finance degree with honors, and his Doctor of
Jurisprudence degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He completed
both undergraduate and law degrees within five years.
Mr. Munisteri started his legal career with the insurance defense firm of Funderburk &
Funderburk. Mr. Munisteri is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.*
Mr. Munisteri has devoted his legal career to tort litigation and has tried
numerous personal injury cases to a verdict, including medical malpractice, legal
malpractice, sexual assault, boat collision, products liability, automobile collision,
premises liability, construction liability, traffic control failure, and worker's
compensation claims.
Mr. Munisteri has successfully concluded hundreds of cases, including numerous cases

dozens of parties. He has also overseen the defense of complex liability claims,
including breast implants, Norplants, and pedicle screws. He also has handled
complex products liability claims involving roofing materials, cordless
telephones, and furnaces.
Mr. Munisteri is licensed by the Texas Supreme Court as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas. He is also
licensed in California.
